Property Renovation
We finished flipping our rental property, and the transformation has been incredible. From the initial walkthrough to the final touches, we've poured our hearts into this project. The outdated kitchen now boasts modern appliances and a fresh, inviting design. The once-dull walls have been brought to life with new paint and fixtures that enhance the overall atmosphere.
As we move forward, it's a great reminder of the importance of investing not just in properties but also in relationships. We pray that whoever steps into this space finds not just a home but a place where they can grow and thrive in their journey. Here's to new beginnings and the rewarding experience of investing wisely!
Serving Locally
Serving local ministries is a powerful way to make a meaningful impact in our communities. From delivering firewood to families in need during the cold winter months to spending quality time with children in difficult neighborhoods, these acts of service demonstrate compassion and support for those who may be struggling. Whether it’s organizing a kid’s camp or simply lending a listening ear, each interaction fosters a sense of connection and hope. By investing our time and resources into local ministries, we not only uplift those around us but also strengthen our own faith and bonds within the community, creating a ripple effect of love and encouragement.
Anything’s Pawsible
We are thrilled to announce our sponsorship and participation in another successful year of the Anything's Pawsible 5K event! This vibrant gathering not only celebrates the incredible bond between humans and their support animals, but also raises essential awareness for the vital role these companions play in our lives.
Mission Trips
This past year, I had the incredible opportunity to go on two mission trips that profoundly impacted my life and the lives of others.
First, I traveled to the Philippines with ICM. The experience was both humbling and inspiring. We partnered with local communities to aid in various initiatives, including healthcare and providing training for local leaders. We shared stories, laughter, and prayers. Witnessing firsthand how they foster community development was an experience I will always treasure.
A few weeks ago, I participated in a mission trip to Florida to assist with hurricane relief. The devastation caused by the hurricane was heartbreaking, but it was uplifting to see volunteers from all over come together to support those in need. We helped with clean-up efforts and offered emotional support to families trying to rebuild their lives. Each day was filled with hard work, but the sense of purpose and community spirit made it all worthwhile.
Both trips reminded me of the importance of investing in others and the impact we can make when we come together with a shared mission. I returned home feeling renewed in my commitment to serve and to grow my relationship with Jesus, grateful for the chance to contribute to His work in such meaningful ways.
Adventures and travels
This year marked a significant milestone for our family—we took our first flight together! We took plenty of road trips this year, exploring new destinations and making unforgettable memories. Our first Disney cruise was a highlight. From meeting beloved characters to enjoying the excursions off shore, every moment felt magical.
Family, church, community
We embraced the joy of community spending time with family and friends. From apple picking to engaging in fall festivities, these moments allowed us to connect with each other deeper and create lasting memories.
Living out Acts 2:42 reminds us of the importance of fellowship, breaking bread together, and sharing our lives. Through laughter, shared experiences, and the beauty of creation, we not only strengthened our relationships with one another but also deepened our relationship with Jesus. Each activity was a reminder of the blessings in our lives and the community that supports us, reflecting the love and unity that Christ desires for His followers.
